This year, I've had the privilege of volunteering at various organizations, including the Springfield Community Garden where I contributed through content creation and videography.
Video Production
Recently, I embarked on a deeply meaningful project for Tom & Brenda Sanchez. Commissioned by their church, Hope of Nations Anglican Church, I was tasked with producing a commemorative video honoring this remarkable couple. Tom & Brenda's journey, from their days as missionaries in Chile to their role as missions pastors for Grace Covenant Church in Austin, TX, is a testament to their unwavering dedication to service and faith. Personally touched by their kindness during my time as a missionary in Qingdao, China, I felt compelled to donate my skills to celebrate their legacy. With every frame, I sought to capture the essence of their selfless devotion and impact on countless lives. Presenting the finished video to Tom & Brenda was a moment filled with gratitude and emotion, knowing that my work would serve as a timeless tribute to their extraordinary journey. This project embodies my commitment to using technology and storytelling to honor the remarkable individuals who have touched my life and the lives of others in profound ways.
Service Projects
In Austin, I've actively volunteered my time to various organizations, making a positive impact on the community. I've served meals to those in need at Church Under The Bridge, the Central Texas Food Bank, and Angel House Soup Kitchen. Beyond hunger relief, I've championed the well-being of children in foster and kinship care through Skiin' With The Galilean, taking them on boat outings. At Simple Sparrow Farms' The Bird House, I brought smiles to faces with face painting and playtime with the animals. My volunteer efforts have also extended to supporting cultural events, like managing the sound booth for TapNToe School of Dance's ballet recital.
